I strongly recommend that you use Microsoft IE 5.x as this is a true Multimedia
web site and has been designed around Microsoft's leading edge technologies
to give you the best in online multimedia experience on a standard telephone
line. There are Macintosh and Windows versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer
also Microsoft are working on a UNIX version as well that may be released
when you view this page so click on the link to get the best for free.
This site is designed around Microsoft Media Player Products and specifications
if you download IE 5.x and install it to your system select full installation
with this will also load in the Microsoft Media player. Most likely you can
leave your old browser installed if you want to. I'm very partial to IE as
it offers the best in free and state of the art web tools.
Click
here and Get your copy of Internet Explorer 5.0 for free!
If You have IE 4.0 or 5.0 you will also need the Microsoft
Windows Media Player click here to get your free copy.
If you go the trouble of getting these free tools your efforts will be rewarded.
The sound and video action is really worth the effort.
I recommend that you have a sound card and speakers and set your screen
resolution 800x600 or higher (I use 1024 x 768, I have tested
it on 640x480 its OK but much better the higher your resolution.) and video
colours settings to hi or true colour or better so you get true video playback.
You will need a 28.8 modem and if you have a 56k modem you will do better.
My broadcast signal is designed for a standard telephone line.
Cheers
Mark Hart
